[Problème] mon domaine.com/ ne perd pas son index.php

Bonsoir,
je viens vous voir car j'ai un souci que je n'arrive pas a réglé.
Je dispose d'un site sous joomla hebergé chez OVH.

J'ai suivie la méthode classique pour ne pas afficher l'index.php soit:
-> renommer en .htaccess
-> activer la réécriture au vol.

Tout fonctionne, sauf: pour la page d'accueil.

pour faire simple:
-> ma racine www.domaine.com
-> ma page d'accueil: www.domaine.com/index.php
-> mes autres pages: www.domaine.com/autres_pages

sachant que quand je tape www.domaine.com, je tombe sur la page site en travaux de OVH.

Vous savez comment faire?

Bonjour,

Si à la racine du site il y a un index.html, le supprimer (c'est le machin en travaux...) ou le renommer en par exemple index.html.old et le problème sera définitivement résolu.

je confirme ce que dit Jisse, le index.html est considéré en priorité sur le index.php
Admettons que tu as les deux, le .html sera lu par défaut

pour changer la priorité des fichiers :
dans le fichier .htaccess ajouter :

DirectoryIndex index.php index.html
